PHILADELPHIA (August 12, 2010) – Surgical Oncologist Alexander Kutikov, MD, FACS - Attending Surgeon, Urologic Oncology , has joined Fox Chase Cancer Center’s department of surgery after completing a Society of Urologic Oncology Fellowship at the Center.

Patrick, MD - Director, Hospitalist Service, Internal Medicine, has joined Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Department of Medicine as director of the hospitalist program.  The hospitalist team is dedicated to delivering compassionate, comprehensive medical care to all hospitalized patients.

PHILADELPHIA (August 10, 2010) – Rohit Walia, MD - Staff Radiologist, Radiology, has joined Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Department of Diagnostic Imaging as a staff radiologist.  His clinical expertise is in body imaging, nuclear medicine, and neuroradiology.

Now, in an unexpected discovery, a team of researchers reports that human and other vertebrate genomes also contain many ancient sequences from two deadly virus families.
