PHILADELPHIA (May 3, 2021) – Main Line Today has honored four Fox Chase Cancer Center – East Norriton nurses with their 2021 Excellence in Nursing Award. Nurses from Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties were nominated for their dedication and contributions throughout 2020. Fellow nurses from the region voted on the selections.

PHILADELPHIA (May 3, 2021)— Fifty-three (53) Fox Chase Cancer Center physicians have been named to Philadelphia magazine’s “Top Doctors” list for 2021. Physicians on the list were nominated by a national survey of their professional peers.

PHILADEPHIA (April 30, 2021) – Fox Chase Cancer Center is pleased to announce its support for the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network’s (BCAN) virtual Walk to End Bladder Cancer, which will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 11 a.m.

PHILADELPHIA (April 29, 2021)—Fox Chase Cancer Center will be supporting the American Lung Association with a team at the Lung Force Walk 2021, which will be held May 15. This 3-mile walk through the historic Society Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia helps support and promote lung health by raising money for early disease detection and life-saving research.

PHILADELPHIA (April 27, 2021)—Anna Liza Rodriguez, MSN, MHA, RN, OCN, NEA-BC, chief nursing officer and vice president for Nursing and Patient Services at Fox Chase Cancer Center, has created a process that allows leaders to recognize variations in their performance and create a mechanism by which they can review, report on their action plan, and highlight their best practices.

PHILADELPHIA (April 23, 2021) — Fox Chase Cancer Center is pleased to announce its ongoing support for the annual Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation’s Sandy Sprint the World virtual 5k &10k run/walk. Due to COVID-19 precautions, instead of the event being one day, faculty, staff, volunteers, patients, survivors, and their families can compete from April 24 through May 8.

PHILADELPHIA (April 22, 2021)—The use of molecular profiling to identify the molecular and genetic signatures of cancer and deliver highly specific treatments was named the top advance of the year in the treatment of cancer, according to a recent collaborative report from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

PHILADELPHIA (April 22, 2021)—Alexander Kutikov, MD, FACS, chief of the Division of Urology and Urologic Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center, was recognized by the American Urological Association (AUA) as the winner of the Young Urologist of the Year Award for the Mid-Atlantic Section.
