Finding the Right Care
Between late 2022 and mid-2025, I underwent multiple surgeries, immunotherapies, radiation treatments, and ultimately tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL)—a type of immune cell therapy. Bleeding from a tiny skin spot on my shoulder led me to Dr. Santoro, my dermatologist at Fox Chase Cancer Center. The team moved quickly after my 2022 diagnosis; the melanoma had spread to lymph nodes under my left arm.
Patient comments
I was extremely nervous about this visit. Dr. Lee acknowledged the appropriateness of my concerns, and explained the treatment recommended in detail to ease my concerns. I felt much calmer after my visit.
I spent over an hour with Dr. Teresa Lee. She answered all my questions and eased any of my concerns. She is kind, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable in her field of practice.
Dr. Lee (and [...], her assistant) ALWAYS spends as much time as we need to make sure we go over everything and feel comfortable with the explanations! Dr. Lee is extremely knowledgeable about my whole case. I am extremely pleased with the care I am receiving from Dr. Lee and the whole team at Fox Chase.
I have nothing but respect for Dr Lee.
Dr. Lee's explanation of my cancer diagnosis was very thorough and informative. She provided me with information about my diagnosis that made me understand my disease.
