PHILADELPHIA (May 12, 2023)—Immunotherapy has become a powerful tool to fight many cancers, but it still only works in some patients and researchers are looking for new options to help patients who become resistant.

PHILADELPHIA (May 11, 2023)—Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Jeffrey Farma, MD, FACS, chief of the Division of General Surgery, was recently awarded the 40th Michael E. DeBakey International Military Surgeon’s Award at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

PHILADELPHIA (May 10, 2023)—Fox Chase Cancer Center has begun offering cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT)-based adaptive radiation therapy, a technique that allows a patient’s radiation treatment to be adjusted in real time to accommodate changes in the body such as tumor shrinkage and/or the position of the adjacent normal organs.
