Emmanuel T. Quien Joins the Fox Chase Cancer Center Department of Hematology/Oncology

PHILADELPHIA (August 3, 2017) – Fox Chase Cancer Center is pleased to welcome Emmanuel T. Quien, MD, to the Department of Hematology/Oncology. Quien is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist who has been working within the Temple University Health System for nearly 20 years. His new full-time position is assistant professor at Fox Chase, and he will continue to provide clinical services at the Temple Health Northeastern Ambulatory Care campus as well as on-site and on-call support to the hematology program at Jeanes Hospital. 

Quien comes to Fox Chase from Temple University Hospital, and Temple Physicians, Inc. He earned his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in his native Philippines, and completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey.

Edelman, MD, chair of the Department of Hematology/Oncology at Fox Chase. “He brings more than two decades of experience and expertise that will greatly benefit our patients with metastatic cancers, blood cancers, and other blood diseases.”

Quien began his new role at Fox Chase on August 1, 2017.
