Eileen Stein Jacoby Fund Hosts 4th Annual Fitlife Marathon for a Cure

PHILADELPHIA, PA (April 17, 2013)—Join the Eileen Stein Jacoby Fund as they host the 4th Annual FitLife Marathon for a Cure on Sunday, April 21 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the FitLife Performance Center in Ivyland, PA (157 Railroad Drive). Every year the event brings together high school and college students from Philadelphia, Montgomery and Bucks County to participate in a variety of fitness activities—running, fitness training, relays, tag and more—to help raise funds for breast cancer research at Fox Chase Cancer Center.

To participate, students are asked to form teams of at least 12 people. Once the teams are formed they are encouraged to solicit sponsorship from family, friends, local businesses, and anyone else they think may be willing to support their team’s effort. In the past the event has garnered tremendous support from businesses across the counties.

The event organizers hope that this year’s FitLife Marathon for a Cure surpasses what they raised last year, which was $32,000.
