Take Part and Help Support Fox Chase Cancer Center

Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia holds special events all year to provide cancer education and to benefit the Center. Funds raised go to cancer research, prevention and treatment at Fox Chase. We also partner with community groups to help raise cancer awareness and support. Please join us by taking part in the great events coming up. • "GIST" Valentine's Day Benefit Ball
  Saturday, February 14, 2009; 7:00 - 11:00 p.m.
  The Mansion on Main Street, Voorhees, New Jersey

  The first annual Valentine's Day Ball will be held in 2009 to benefit Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST) research at Fox Chase Cancer Center.

  The Ball's organizer, Julie Cramer, has watched her father, Mark Becker, fight GIST for many years. Her mission is to raise both awareness about GIST and funds for research. Fox Chase GIST researchers, Margaret von Mehren, MD and Andrew Godwin, PhD, are planning to attend.
