Fox Chase Cancer Center Proudly Supports Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s PurpleStride Philadelphia 2017

PHILADELPHIA (October 4, 2017) – Fox Chase Cancer Center, a designated National Pancreatic Foundation Center, will again field a team of faculty, staff, patients, and friends to raise funds at the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s PurpleStride Philadelphia, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. This year the event is on Saturday, November 4 at Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park. Registration opens at 6 am and the 5K run/walk starts at 8 am. 

“At Fox Chase we take a multidisciplinary approach to pancreatic cancer diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care, and to us that includes working together with our patients and friends in the community to raise funds for more research,” said Igor Astsaturov, MD, PhD, a medical oncologist at Fox Chase.
