PHILADELPHIA (October 2, 2023) — The presence of BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations in breast cancer patients did not predict improved survival for patients who received radiation therapy, according to findings presented by Fox Chase Cancer Center researchers recently at the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Annual Meeting in San Diego.

His clinical practice will be based at the department’s rapidly expanding section at Temple University Hospital, where his clinical practice will focus on head and neck cancer, thoracic malignancies, and translational clinical trials.

PHILADELPHIA (September 7, 2023) — Researchers at Fox Chase Cancer Center have published the results of a phase 1 study that showed that the cytokine interferon-gamma may help reduce serious immune-related adverse events that can occur with the use of the immune checkpoint inhibitor drug nivolumab.

The award that Rodriguez is a finalist for recognizes an individual who demonstrates visionary leadership, implements innovations, and promotes effective financial stewardship of operational human resources.
