215-728-2570To refer a patient, call 215-728-2570. The new patient appointments staff will contact your patient to schedule the an appointment and obtain the necessary pre-registration information. Patients are asked to bring all treatment records including slides, tissue blocks, X-rays and scans to the first appointment. This helps avoid repeat tests or delays in treatment recommendations.
Protocol Office
215-728-2983The Protocol Office coordinates and maintains all clinical trials conducted at Fox Chase, including national studies and those unique to the Center. Fox Chase participates in the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, Radiation Therapy Oncology Group, Gynecologic Oncology Group, Southwestern Oncology Group, National Cancer Institute and private pharmaceutical companies. Breast Evaluation Center
215-728-3001The Breast Evaluation Center provides multidisciplinary consultations for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with breast diseases. Patients with established diagnoses of breast cancer, those who have been previously treated and those with suspicious lesions are all eligible for this service. Consultations involve a medical oncologist, surgical oncologist, radiation oncologist and pathologist in a single appointment session

Physician Services Line

Trained oncology nurses staff the line to answer questions about referral procedures, continuing medical education programs, inquiries about specific patients or communications issues and available treatment programs.

The data base consists of a treatment file, which contains prognostic and treatment information on all major cancers; a research file, which includes information on more than 1,000 active clinical trials; and a directory file, which contains the names. addresses and phone numbers of more than 21,000 physicians and 8,000 organizations active in cancer care.

This federally funded program has established itself as an important resource for the public, patients and their families and health professionals in Pennsylvania New Jersey and Delaware.
