Susan G. Komen - More Than Pink Walk 2019

Join Fox Chase Cancer Center in supporting the Susan G. Komen Foundation's More Than Pink Walk 2019. Participants will proceed counter clockwise around Eakins Oval, down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, around Logan Circle and back to the Oval, just under 2 miles. Participants can do any distance by simply returning to the Oval at any point.

Arrival and Entry

Registration begins: 8:00 am

The More Than Pink Walk is a contained event, and registration is necessary for entry. For your convenience, there will be three registration stations arranged around Eakins Oval. Enter through one of the Entry Gates:  To enter the event, please present your proof of registration to a volunteer at one of the six Entry Gates arranged around Eakins Oval, not far from the registration stations. 

The possible proofs of registration are:

• The graphic code that was provided with your confirmation email.  Your graphic code will again be provided to you about a week before the Walk in the pre-walk email. Please print it out -or- have it available on your cell phone to be shown at an Entry Gate.
• The receipt given to you at one of the registration stations if you register during the Walk weekend.

Opening Ceremonies

Arrive at the base of the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art no later than 8 a.m. for the opening ceremonies, Parade of Hope and the start of the community walk. Please note that the walk will begin at the base of the steps immediately following the Parade of Hope. This event will occur rain or shine.
