Fox Chase Cancer Center Welcomes Usman Ali

PHILADELPHIA (December 30, 2019) – Fox Chase Cancer Center announces the hiring of Usman Ali, MD, as an assistant professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine within the Department of Medicine.

Ali previously worked as a contracted hospitalist at Fox Chase from 2016 to 2019. He was an internal medicine resident at Capital Health System in New Jersey from 2013 to 2016. He completed his clinical research fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center in New York in 2013.

Ali is board certified to practice medicine in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and is also certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.

Ali has co-written several studies and presented papers and posters at conferences in Canada and   the United States. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Medical Association, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.

Ali will begin his new position at Fox Chase on January 6, 2020.
