Jennifer Barsky Reese Receives NCI Grant to Study Sexual Function in Breast Cancer Survivors

PHILADELPHIA (November 27, 2018) – Jennifer Barsky Reese, PhD,  will evaluate the efficacy of a couple-based intervention that addresses breast cancer-related sexual concerns and is delivered via telephone to post-treatment breast cancer survivors and their intimate partners in a multi-site randomized controlled trial.

Camille Ragin Receives Second NIH Grant to Study Cancer and Cardiovascular Risk in Caribbean Countries

Eight Fox Chase East Norriton Physicians Named 2018 Top Docs by Main Line Today

PHILADELPHIA (November 26, 2018) – Main Line Today has named Fox Chase Cancer Center East Norriton-Hospital Outpatient Center physicians in a range of specialties including, breast, surgical, gynecology, prostate, and radiation. Physicians from the region were asked to vote on top doctors from an array of specialties. 

Earlier this year Grivennikov earned a separate five-year R01 grant from the NCI to determine the contribution of IL-17B/RB signaling to colorectal cancer and evaluate its mechanisms of action.

Sergei Grivennikov Receives Second National Cancer Institute R01 Grant for Colorectal Cancer Research

PHILADELPHIA (November 21, 2018)— For the second time this year, Sergei Grivennikov, PhD, assistant professor in the Cancer Prevention and Control Program at Fox Chase Cancer Center, has received a R01 grant from the National Cancer Institute to support research on the connection between inflammation and colorectal cancer. The grant will provide $2.5 million over five years.

Fox Chase Cancer Center Receives NIH Grant for Multiphoton Microscopy System

PHILADELPHIA (November 21, 2018) – The National Institutes of Health has awarded a $599,789 grant to Fox Chase Cancer Center for the purchase of a multiphoton microscopy system.

The paper, by Aliia Fatkhullina, MS, a graduate student at Fox Chase, and Ekaterina Koltsova, MD, PhD, assistant professor in the Blood Cell Development and FunctionProgram at Fox Chase, appears in the journal Immunity.
