Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine
Small bowel double balloon enteroscopy (DBE); Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS); Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR); Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
Karis Award for exceptional performance, Mayo Clinic, 2016
I joined Fox Chase Cancer Center as staff gastroenterologist in 2016. My goal is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care for a broad spectrum of benign and malignant digestive conditions for every patient. I apply cutting-edge medical knowledge and technology with a focus on personalized patient care. I work closely together with my colleagues in surgical, medical and radiation oncology to make the best treatment decision for each patient.
My treatment spectrum includes preventive medical care, treatment of bleeding, removal of precancerous and early cancerous lesions, placement of stents, detailed endoscopic ultrasound examination of the pancreas, bile duct, and virtually any anatomical structure in the vicinity of the upper and lower intestinal tract, amongst others.
Another cornerstone is communication with patients and referring physicians. I try to educate patients to allow them to make the best decision for themselves, in concert with my recommended treatment plan.
