Dan’s Voice Chapter

Dan’s Voice was founded in loving memory of Dan Rich, a husband, father of two, entrepreneur, coach, amateur musician, and a friend to many, who lost his voice and ultimately his life to laryngeal/esophageal cancer.

Unfortunately, Dan and his family took a long journey with cancer that included physical pain, disfigurement, loss of taste, ability to eat and swallow and most importantly the ability to talk. Prior to his death in 2013, he struggled greatly with the silence that had become him.

Dan’s Voice.org was founded by Dan’s wife to honor his silent, yet resilient battle. There was never self-pity or complaints. The group’s mission is to help others who are afflicted with head and neck cancers to achieve a level of care, comfort and support to overcome the daily hardships. They work closely with Fox Chase Cancer Center to fund ground-breaking research, purchase advanced diagnostic tools, and enhance patient care and comfort, all with the goal of reducing the burden on patients afflicted with head and neck cancer.
