How can I get in touch with my doctor or a member of my care team with a medical question, prescription request, etc.?

The best way to reach your physician or care team is to call the number they provided you. If you do not have that number, call our phone triage line at 215-728-4300. They are open Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5 pm. They will put your request into your electronic medical record and will have the physician or member of your care team reach out to you.

What do I do if I have an urgent medical issue after hours?

If it is a true emergency, please call 911. If it is not a true emergency, please call 215-728-6900 to speak with the Fox Chase doctor on call. He/she may send you to your local emergency room or Jeanes Hospital, which is next door to Fox Chase. Be sure to tell the Jeanes staff that you are a Fox Chase patient so the Fox Chase physician on call can be notified. If hospital admission is necessary, you will be admitted to Fox Chase.

What do I need to do to reschedule/cancel/confirm my appointment?

To reschedule, cancel, or confirm an appointment, please call our appointments and scheduling line at 215-728-2600. They will be happy to assist you.

Can you tell me if there are any open clinical trials for my specific type of cancer?

The best thing to do is to call our Clinical Trials Intake staff to see if there are any clinical trials open for which you may qualify. You can reach them at 215-214-1515 or fill out this form to be connected with a Patient Navigator, who will be able to best assist you.

How do I make a new patient appointment to be seen by a Fox Chase physician?

If you would like to be seen by a Fox Chase physician for an initial consultation on your diagnosis or a second opinion on your diagnosis and current treatment plan, give us a call at 888-369-2427. When you call, select option #2 for the new patient office. Or you can request an appointment online here.

I am an existing patient at Fox Chase. How do I schedule a follow-up appointment?

Can you tell me if Fox Chase accepts my insurance plan?

You can view our accepted insurance plans on our website here, but it’s always best to call your health insurer directly to verify whether you can receive care at Fox Chase. Please contact our Financial Counseling Department at 215-728-2678 or 215-728-3162 should you need any assistance. They are available Monday–Friday from 8:00 am–5:00 pm.

How do I get help with my Fox Chase online portal account?

How do I get a copy of my mammogram films?

Please reach out to our mammogram film library at 215-728-3879 for assistance with your records.

How do I get a copy of my medical records?

You will need to file a form that is necessary to get a copy of your medical records. Please visit our website at https://www.foxchase.org/medical-forms. On this page, you will find the instructions on the process of requesting medical records.
