Treatment Philosophy

I joined the faculty of the pathology department at Fox Chase Cancer Center in 2011. After completing sub-specialties training in oncologic surgical pathology and hematopathology, I earned my board certifications in the anatomical, clinical and hematopathology. As a postdoctoral fellow in 2001, I began my molecular pathology research in the area of epigenetics. This research is enabling me to understand cancer pathogenesis and the importance of genetic and molecular testing in arriving at a final diagnosis. I am passionate about providing precise diagnoses by utilizing state-of-the-art testing. Although my patients do not usually get to meet me in person, I know that all the pertinent diagnostic information is being considered in a personalized care plan for each one. It is a privilege to work with experienced, highly trained staff members at Fox Chase Cancer Center. In addition to clinical service, I continue with my research work and collaborations in cancer research.
