Nicholas Cavallaro, MD

I joined the Department of Medicine at the Fox Chase Cancer Center as an academic hospitalist in 2011. As a hospitalist I serve as your primary care physician while you are an inpatient admitted to the hospital. My role is to treat your acute illness, as well as manage all other medical issues you may have. I coordinate a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals and specialists, in order to best deliver compassionate, high quality care for you. I work closely with your oncologist and outpatient primary care doctor to best care for you while you are here, and to allow you the smoothest transition back out of the hospital.
I am also involved in the education of the medical students and residents, as well as research and quality improvement projects. These measures ensure that you are receiving the most advanced, high quality care available.
