Suzanne M Boyle, MD

I joined the Fox Chase Cancer Center team as a hospitalist in the summer of 2010.
I was drawn to Fox Chase Cancer Center because it offers its patients a very unique combination of features: those of a nationally-renowned academic center that provides leading -edge cancer care, but with the ability to deliver that care in a small, community hospital-like setting. Fox Chase provides a multi-disciplinary approach to care under the convenience and comfort of one roof. This small setting optimizes care for patients and families during a difficult time in their lives. It also fosters a warm and familiar atmosphere that facilitates collaboration between all members of the health care team in order to develop a personalized treatment strategy for each patient.
In my role as a Fox Chase hospitalist, I care for patients while they are admitted to the inpatient facilities at the Center. The reason for admission may be for a chemotherapy treatment or for medical issues related to a cancer. In any of these cases, it is my job to coordinate patient care in collaboration with the rest of your team of doctors, including, for example, your medical oncologist, surgeon, or radiation oncologist.
It is my privilege and responsibility to help you and your family best understand your condition, your treatment options, and to ensure a smooth transition between inpatient and outpatient settings.
