Clinical services provided by Fox Chase Dermatology include skin cancer screening, early detection and surveillance as well as state-of-the-art treatment, such as Mohs micrographic surgery and photodynamic therapy. Consultations are provided to those at risk for or already diagnosed with skin cancer and oncology patients with dermatologic complications.
Fox Chase Dermatology clinical services are organized with an infrastructure to support basic and clinical research, from biosample acquisition to clinical trial accrual.
The Mohs facility and Dermatology offices are located at 8 Huntingdon Pike, a short distance from the main hospital campus. It is convenientlyy located near bus and regional rail stations, and there is free off-street parking. Shuttle service is available from the hospital. Read more »
The Department of Medicine, created in 2007, includes doctors with expertise in the fields of Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, and Pulmonology. These non-oncology physicians deliver quality care for cancer and non-cancer patients, providing medical management of existing diseases, prevention screenings for those patients at high risk, and therapeutic endoscopic procedures and treatments.
