At Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, our experienced hospice team specializes in end-of-life care. They provide supportive in-home services for adult cancer patients and their families through the Lippincott Family Hospice Program.

Total Hospice Care, Round-the-Clock

Care focuses on comfort in the final stages of life, rather than on cure. Through hospice, we address the needs of the entire person—medical, social, emotional and spiritual. This lets patients keep their independence and control, living their last days in comfort and dignity.

Making a Referral to the Program

Michael Levy, MD, PhD, a national expert in hospice care and palliative medicine, established Fox Chase's hospice program in 1982. He continues to serve as its medical director. Dr. Levy meets weekly with the team to guide the medical aspects of care. He is available to the hospice staff when they're in the patient's home.
