Valentine's Gift-Wrap Booth Benefits Research at Fox Chase Cancer Center

PHILADELPHIA (January 25, 1999) -- Even "fools in love" can act sensibly this Valentine's Day. Once you've purchased the perfect gift for the object of your affection, come and visit Fox Chase Cancer Center's gift-wrap booth at the Willow Grove Mall.

The Marlyn R. Fein Chapter of the Board of Associates of Fox Chase Cancer Center is sponsoring the gift-wrap booth on the 1st level of the mall, by the elevator. Wrapping services are available for a small contribution from February 10th to the 14th during mall hours.

Donations vary depending on the size of the gifts. All proceeds raised at the booth will go directly to cancer research at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Anyone with some free time and a giving heart can volunteer. For more information, please call the Board of Associates office at 215-728-2441.

The Marlyn R. Fein Chapter is one of seven member organizations of the Fox Chase Cancer Center's Board of Associates, representing more than 700 volunteers who conduct fund-raising and educational activities in support of the Center.

Fox Chase Cancer Center is one of 35 National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer centers in the nation. The Center's activities include basic and clinical research; prevention, detection and treatment of cancer; and community outreach programs.
