Interlibrary Loan

Articles and books not in our collection can be obtained via interlibrary loan. Materials are usually received within five to ten working days. At a patron's request, articles can be rushed by FAX or ARIEL within 24-48 hours. Requested PDF articles are filled if available.

Interlibrary loan fees

$11.00 -$15.00 per request; $5.00-$15.00 extra for Rush service, plus any additional fees charged by the lending library) are charged to a patron's cost center. Multiple Rush requests (over 5 per patron per day) will be filled as time permits. Charges for PDF format are usually higher, depending on publisher availability. Expect publisher fees to be $25-$60 (or more).

Book requests are approximately $15-$22.

To request an interlibrary loan, complete an online interlibrary loan request form. To expedite service, please include the PMID# or Medline UI# if you have one from a Medline/PubMed search. Incomplete information delays processing of your request. Print forms are available in the Library. Please leave the completed form in the drop bin on the interlibrary loan/search office door.

More in-depth information is available in the Interlibrary Loan Policy.
