The Dragon Boat Festival happens along the Schuylkill River every October. Since the first event in 2002, festival participants and supporters have raised more than $1 million for Fox Chase. Thank you to the teams and all who support Fox Chase Cancer Center through this event.

This is an open-ended support group for any woman with a diagnosis of breast cancer. Women can join at any time during or after treatment for support, information and sharing.

Join in a day of golf for a great cause at the 8th Annual Rita R. Holman Breast Cancer Foundation Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 2. Hosted by Jessica Holman Kowalchick, the event honors the life and legacy of her loving mother Rita who lost her courageous battle with breast cancer. Although not treated at Fox Chase, Rita’s family chose to support the institution because of its research reputation and clinical trials, particularly in triple negative breast cancer, and have donated nearly $40,000 throughout the years. Registration is $80 and includes an afternoon of golf on a great course, food and drinks throughout the tournament, dinner, raffles, prizes and more. Dinner only packages are also available for $20. Hey Phillies fans join Fox Chase Cancer Center at Citizens Bank Park on Friday, August 8, 2014 when the Phillies host the New York Mets at 7:05p.m. Seating will be located in the Pavilion (sections 201-205) at $30 per ticket. Net proceeds from tickets sold through this offer will benefit Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Gist Cancer Research Fund. Game highlights include: the Toyota Roy Halladay Bobble Figurine giveaway! The Kicking Cancer Foundation invites you to participate in the 6th Annual Philly Kicking Cancer Kickball Tournament on Saturday, August 9! Last year, nearly 500 people participated in the event, which raised more than $47,000 for cancer research at Fox Chase. This year, join in the fun and get a great workout in all while supporting a great cause. For nearly three decades, the Hilferty family has supported Fox Chase Cancer Center through this event in honor of Michael J. Hilferty, Sr. who passed away from cancer in 1980, and Michael’s son John Hilferty who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in 2003. The cost is $120 per golfer and includes dinner. Team Tommy Z proudly presents the 13th Annual Day in the Park in memory of Tommy Zacierka, a loving husband and father who lost his battle with a rare and aggressive form of cancer at the young age of 33.
